Davinci Resolve Import Gimp Files and Use All the Layers
Having two great free programs like Davinci Resolve and Gimp that work together is really fantastic. Gimp is a free image editing and vector drawing program that is used by many who do not want to pay monthly user fees for software like Adobe. Davinci Resolve is capable of importing a Gimp file. Even better, when the Gimp file is imported, the layers stay separated and become nodes within the Fusion Page. Each image layer (node) can then be manipulated at will. This tutorial shows how it is done. Also, it shows how to apply additional effects to an image layer node. It is a great way to work the the Gimp files to create animation or other creations.
You can use the free version of Resolve or Resolve Studio. Both will work.
Download the free version of Resolve from Blackmagic Design's offical website.
