Davinci Resolve 16 VST Instruments

An overview of how to set up VST instruments in the settings so Resolve can find your VST instruments. Once the VST paths are setup, Resolve will need to be closed and restarted. Then this video covers how to set up the important patches in the Fairlight settings and the the VST instrument so you can play and record audio from your Virtual Instruments. This method also works great for VST effects like Isotope and Waves audio plugins.

In the tutorial video, I show how to set up and use FL Studio in the Fairlight window in Resolve. FL Studio does work as a VST instrument which is super cool because it is also a DAW. This allows you to create beats and loops very easy.
